David Lieber is a Director and Privacy Policy Counsel for TikTok based in Washington, D.C. In that capacity, David works on privacy, cybersecurity, government access and issues on TikTok's Public Policy team. Prior to joining TikTok, David spend over a decade at Google, where he worked on a similar portfolio of issues. David also worked in the E-Commerce & Privacy practice at DLA Piper. David previously worked for Senator Dick Durbin on the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is a graduate of Bates College and the Northwestern University School of Law. David is here live. He is not a cat.
